Why I Don’t Quit

Why I Don't Quit

Today I want to have some fun and give you 10 quotes that will make you continue whatever project, business, endavour you are undertaking.

I’m doing this because, already on January 13th people’s resolutions are fading away…Sad but true…

Quote 1

If you live long enough, you’ll make mistakes. But if you learn from them, you’ll be a better person. It’s how you handle adversity, not how it affects you. The main thing is never quit, never quit, never quit.
William J. Clinton

I love this quote! If you can just retain one, it’s this one. Life is full of lessons to learn. So don’t quit.

Quote 2

If you believe in yourself and have dedication and pride – and never quit, you’ll be a winner. The price of victory is high but so are the rewards.
Paul Bryant

This is another great quote and what I love about it is that it tells you to believe in yourself. That’s so important. You can be your worst enemy…
…be your biggest fan!

Quote 3

I hated every minute of training, but I said, ‘Don’t quit. Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion.’
Muhammad Ali

I’m sure Muhammad Ali loved boxing, the actual combat, but doing certain activities, such as training, that was necessary for him to be a champion was more difficult….and that’s where we often quit!

By not doing necessary tasks that are vital for our business and expect to succeed anyway.

I suggest to always have the end result, the destination in mind to better appreciate the journey!

Quote 4

Winners never quit and quitters never win.
Vince Lombardi

This is a classic! A good one to always remember when life is more challenging.

Quote 5

The way to get started is to quit talking and begin doing.
Walt Disney

I love this one too! ACT! Be action oriented!

Quote 6

Don’t quit. Never give up trying to build the world you can see, even if others can’t see it. Listen to your drum and your drum only. It’s the one that makes the sweetest sound.
Simon Sinek

I know that we often need approval from our family and friends when we undertake an endavour…but just don’t. Trust me I know what I’m talking about. My family was not thrilled when I decided to retire last year.

“Patricia, this is crazy! what about your security? You can’t do that!”

I’m sure you know all the excuses…and I got them from my family and friends.

However, today, they don’t say anything bad to me as I have more money than before and I’m 10, 100 times happier than when I was working full time.

I’m not telling you to quit your full time job like me (I had good financial advisors). But follow your instinct and live your life. You will feel better and you will be much more appreciated than when you are grumpy all the time (which was my case!).

Quote 7

Defeat doesn’t finish a man, quit does. A man is not finished when he’s defeated. He’s finished when he quits.
Richard M. Nixon

So true! Defeat is not the end of the world…it’s a great lesson to learn! Learn from every defeat and you will become a better person.

Quote 8

Do not quit! Hundreds of times I have watched people throw in the towel at the one-yard line while someone else comes along and makes a fortune by just going that extra yard.

E. Joseph Cossman

I can give you so many examples of people who quit on network marketing and then the train of fortune came along! It’s sad when you think about it and there’s nothing you can do as it was their decision…

Quote 9

What this power is I cannot say; all I know is that it exists and it becomes available only when a man is in that state of mind in which he knows exactly what he wants and is fully determined not to quit until he finds it.

Alexander Graham Bell

I strongly believe that we would still be in the stone age if it wasn’t for people who tried and tried and tried until they made their famous discovery….call me naive but I know I’m right!

Quote 10

Before success comes in any man’s life, he’s sure to meet with much temporary defeat and, perhaps some failures. When defeat overtakes a man, the easiest and the most logical thing to do is to quit. That’s exactly what the majority of men do.
Napoleon Hill

This quote ends my article. What a way to close it with Napoleon Hill.  The master of Think and Grow Rich.
